Complete filters systems are 150 RMB each.

A complete system includes the ceramic filter, lid, receptacle, faucet with gaskets, scrubbing brush and brief introduction and care of the filter.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We will work with you to keep these as low as possible.

Do we give volume discounts?

Let's face it 150 RMB for a filter that could provide a family with clean water for 5 years is already really cheap. Sorry, we do not give volume discounts.

What do we do with profits?

The purpose of RDPI is to help rural peoples by providing simple but effective technology to improve their health and sanitation and make their access to safe drinking water more convenient. As a start up company, we are far in the hole and we don't expect to make money for awhile. That's OK with us. However, when that day comes and we start to make money -- after a small celebration with our accountant (cups of water all around) -- every cent (mao?) of after-tax profit will be donated to Partners in Hope, a small NGO here in Yunnan that does water and latrine projects. Also, you should know that internationals working for RDPI are all volunteers. No salary is paid to any of the foreigners working at RDPI. p>
